Your Role
As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a modern enterprise Data Platform. You'll work in agile DevOps teams and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient data solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Data Platform Development: Design, implement, and optimize data storage and processing solutions (Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, SQL, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Data Integration & ETL/ELT: Build robust pipelines and model data for analytical use (Power BI, SQL).
  • Monitoring & Support: Manage, monitor, and enhance performance and reliability.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Integrate data solutions within agile teams using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Data Owners, BI Analysts, Architects, and Governance Leads.
  • Workflow Automation: Automate processes using Python (PySpark), PowerShell, or Logic Apps.
  • Data Governance & Quality: Apply best practices in security, governance, and data quality.
  • Documentation & Standards: Maintain clear documentation and adhere to enterprise standards.

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably with Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure tools (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, SQL).
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and data quality.
  • Experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Excellent command of Dutch is required.
